Dissemination of AI4DLG in Rethymno, Greece

The Joint Master’s Programme “AI for Digital Learning and Gamification – AI4DLG” was disseminated during an academic event held in Rethymno, Greece, from May 11th to 17th, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and its contemporary applications in education and innovation.

Professor Jenny Pagge participated as an invited speaker and had the honour of delivering a keynote address during the graduation ceremony of postgraduate students. The invitation was extended by Professor Anastasiadis, Director of the Postgraduate Programme, to whom sincere thanks were expressed for the kind and honourable invitation.

During her speech, Professor Pagge presented the international Joint Master’s Programme AI for Digital Learning and Gamification – AI4DLG, highlighting its academic vision, international orientation, and innovative focus on Artificial Intelligence, digital learning, and gamification.

The presentation emphasised the potential of AI to transform contemporary education by supporting new forms of digital learning and by enabling the design of engaging, creative, and meaningful educational experiences through gamified approaches.

AI4DLG is the result of intensive academic work and excellent collaboration between the University of Ioannina, Greece, and Klaipeda University, Lithuania. The programme contributes to the internationalisation of Greek higher education and strengthens academic cooperation in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, digital education, and educational innovation.

The Joint Master’s Programme AI for Digital Learning and Gamification – AI4DLG is funded under the project SUB2: “Universities of Excellence”, with MIS Code 5180665, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”.

The event offered a valuable opportunity for fruitful dialogue, exchange of ideas, and reflection on the future of education, technology, and innovation.
